A pint between the Pilgrim Brewery and Crumbs teams at a local festival led to a theory that using bread in the recipe of a lower alcohol beer could help maintain the full body we all enjoy in stronger brews. Un Wasted is the result. Brewed using more sourdough bread than we have ever incorporated into a brew it is taking our food waste fighting to a new level. With notes of mango, fresh berries and stone-fruits from Citra and Mosaic hops grown in the Pacific Northwest, this beer is lower in alcohol but not short on flavour or body.  Great things come from collaboration.
